About

My name is Bella Klucevek, and I am a journalist and college student at Loyola Marymount University.

I specialize in audio editing, copy editing, and collage/visual design. I am passionate about social justice, including education reform, decoloniality, women’s rights, and LGBTQ+ rights. When I am not working, I am singing in LMU’s Sinatra Opera Program or at home with my cat.

“I’m here because of what I write. Obviously, I must know something.”

― Fiona Apple

I have always been a writer. I wrote my first short stories at six, and published my first work (on a very small scale) at fourteen. Writing is part of who I am.

I became involved with my school’s newspaper in middle school and high school, and I began to really hone my writing skills and my voice. Since entering college and taking courses such as Podcasting and Audio Design, I have found a passion for audio and voicework. My journalistic area of focus has greatly shifted, from music to politics, to even helping write an astrology column at one point.

My writing, while very analytical and logical, is deeply driven by emotion. I am a sensitive person and figured out how it can work to my advantage. Empathy and compassion are not only the keys to a successful work environment, but also how creativity can thrive.
